Seminar on Using GIS and other computer simulation tools for Planning Rescue and protection operations, 24-28 September 2012, Ohrid, Macedonia

The seminar was hosted and organised by the Protection and Rescue Directorate of Macedonia and represented Macedonian contribution to the DPPI SEE Disaster Management Programme 2012.   The aim of the training was to gain theoretical knowledge and basic practical skills in the field of using GIS and other computer simulation tools for planning protection and rescue operations.The training therefore improved the participants’ knowledge of basic skills and techniques of using GIS and other computer simulation tools for planning protection and rescue operations.
