The 45th DPPI SEE Regional meeting once again joined together the member states in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the working sessions of the meeting the Annual Work Plan for 2023 was reviewed and action points agreed. We were honored to have the Minister for Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr.Nenad Nesic with us during the opening of the meeting. Among other things he expressed support for the role and the mandate of the Initiative. during the Advisory Board session of the meeting the MoU between DPPI SEE and Sphere Association was signed, making the Initiative regional focal point for the Sphere Handbook. Valuable contributions were received from all the members of the Advisory Board including DG ECHO, UNDRR, Council of Europe (for the first time present with us), RCC, RACVIAC, IFRC but also the Pacific Disaster Coordination Center with their Balkans Project.
